A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to cover a maternity leave from January through early April at an elementary school in Lewisville, TX. The role involves providing direct therapeutic services to students ranging from Kindergarten through 5th grade, across two campuses. This assignment offers the opportunity to work with a combined caseload of approximately 48 students, supporting their speech and language development within a vibrant school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students at two elementary campuses, including two half days at an additional site
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to support student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Active State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) considered only if supervision is pre-arranged independently of the district
- Experience working in school settings with K-5 students
- Ability to travel between assigned campuses while effectively managing time and caseload
Location and Schedule:
- Onsite position in Lewisville, Texas
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
